Book Announcement:  'Come Home, Jack'

March 2020

CBJ Cover for WGA

I am pleased to announce that my first fiction novel,
‘Come Home, Jack’, is published.

The Story

Jack Scott, from Regina, Canada, is a navigator in a Lancaster bomber during World War 2.  Nothing is certain during war, and he lives in fear that each mission over Germany will be his last.  Although his air crew is headed by one of the youngest Lancaster pilots in the RAF and, other than the pilot, none of them were in an airplane before the war, they fly with confidence.  Jack’s family’s wish to have him come home safe and sound is an anchor for him, but when another family comes into his life, he has to consider the possibility of a different future.

It is available from the
Blurb Bookstore for $12 plus GST and shipping.

NOTE-UPDATE (March 31)

I’ve had a rush on the bulk order copies that I had at my place and I am sold out.  My next bulk order was to be based on having enough copies to take to a few shops around Calgary such as the store at the Nanton Bomber Museum.  I was also going to order extras in order to have them for people who wanted to buy from me directly. Unfortunately, those places are not open due to the virus, nor will they probably be open for the summer.  I need to order at least 30 books to be able to sell them for $12.  I don’t want to spend the money on that bulk order just to have the books sit around for more six months or more.

Therefore, the only place to buy the book in the interim will be the Blurb Bookstore.
